Self-Promotion Online

I am learning how to produce a web site at the moment, however don't feel competent yet so I am considering an alternative. I already have a blog up and running which is a good start. At the moment though I am considering registering and getting my work up on Behance. This could be a very effective way of advertising my work as the site is well known and has a lot of viewers involved with the industry.

Coroflot is another similar site which allows you to post up you portfolio. It's alright however I don't think the quality of the work exhibited here is of a brilliant standard.

Design Bridge

This is the design company I was recommended to get in touch with. They are are branding company, who appear very professional and successful. I am very hopeful to get a placement with them because I think my work would improve a grate deal.

Placement opportunities

So far I havn't had many studios interested in my work and consider offering me a placement. So I have decided to start networking and a friend of a friend has currently offered me a 1-2 week placement at the company he works for. However in the mean time he recommended I get intouch with design bridge, as he had a placement there a couple of years ago and he improved with the benefit of some added projects for his portfolio.
